This essay hit the spot for me! I tend to push myself to hard - the masculine takes charge, but at the end of the day I'm exhausted and I realize I didn't take time to be still. Balance in all things is an acquired skill I am willing to work on.

I've meditated virtually every day for more than 30 years. I love it. But, rarely is nothing worth something to do more than an hour a day.
You mean a full 60 minutes, 3600 seconds a day ??? ...
NO way this would be healthy !!!
To meditate and "doing nothing" are NOT to be conflated as they are NOT the same thing.
I have a hard time finding people who are not doing nothing all day. And they sure don't look healthy.
