Writing to you from Uruguay.
Well, this is the last letter to you this year and, similar to the last few, I’m keeping it short and simple…
Another year has flown by, but this one brought quite a lot of good things.
I officially became a certified EMT in January while I was learning lots of other useful skills here on the ranch and learning how to improve my writing through reading and, well, actually writing more.
Then, it was time for me to leave Uruguay and head back to the states.
I trained Brazilian Jui-Jitsu for several months, read plenty of books, learned how to back mules/horses into the backcountry in Colorado, met a few impressive men, attended a rope rescue course, rock climbed for the first time, hiked several 14ers (14,000ft mountains), and became a Type 2 Firefighter (wildland firefighter).
