What I did this week (Week 69)

The combination of Thanksgiving and lots of rain around here meant that this past week wasn’t the most eventful.
Especially when you compare this past week to all that was done in Week 68 (butchering a cow, artificially inseminating the cows…) it’s hard not to think that this week was more uninteresting.
But, there were a few good things to come out of this past week…other than Thanksgiving, of course.
Maintenance
I mention this chore in just about every one of the updates I’ve done recently, so I don’t want to bore you anymore…
I’ll just add a quick note about it.
Since the beginning of summer here we began mowing the fields after the cows pass through them to completely restart the grass growth cycle. By doing this we also remove any large brush or weeds that naturally grow in the pastures over time.
